CREATIVE BRIEF
After leaving the NFL, former Bears QB Connor Shaw Shaw turned his sights on the next generation of quarterbacks. His vision was to create a training facility committed to developing young quarterbacks into competitive athletes and effective leaders both on and off the field. At Shaw Factory, quarterbacks learn from an experienced, compassionate coaching staff and train alongside peers in a safe and competitive environment complete with state-of-the-art fitness strength and training equipment. The summer camp Shaw Camps is a day clinic that focuses on the three pillars of Learning, Playing and Growing.
Design Strategy
Shaw Factory is all about forward progress—not just in terms of gaining yards down the field, but in the lives of the young leaders putting in the work within the Shaw Factory and Shaw Camps programs. Every session, quarterbacks make measurable strides in their skills, speed, and game knowledge. Additionally, the athletes continually hone the ability to lead both on and off the field. The momentum is carried forward into into the visual identity of the brand. Symbols and letterforms found in football field markings inspired the logo design. The dynamic, visual landscape of the brand is designed to be industrious and aspirational.
