CREATIVE BRIEF
The ANMLY Project is an independent, collaborative research mission operated by an underground faction of fringe scientists and unknown phenom skateboarders. Their mission is simple: track down, observe, and unlock the mysteries surrounding science’s most enigmatic anomalies and apply that knowledge to the development of grippier, more durable, smarter, lighter, better footwear for skaters.
Design Strategy
The brand identity was designed with two primary functions in mind—to communicate authentically to the scientific narrative of the project, while also resonating deeply with the skate community and consumers of the brand. An offbeat tone is present throughout the marketing materials. At its core, the pursuit of the ANMLY Project is to uncover the uncommon in order to better understand its value. Embracing individuality, therefore, becomes a cause for the brand to champion.
